Matthew 8:17

This fulfilled the word of the Lord through the prophet Isaiah, who said, “He took our sicknesses and removed our diseases.” 

Isaiah 53:4-5

 Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.  But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.

Observation

1. Jesus provided for my healing at the cross, by his wounds I am healed.

2. This healing includes the spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical dimensions.

3. Healing is the privilege of all believers.

Application

1. Believe for my healing

2. Pray in faith for the healing of others.

3. Believe that the power of the cross brings healing to the whole man.

Prayer

Increase my faith, may I believe in the power of the blood of Jesus.  May I trust you for my personal healing and for the healing of others.
