Application
I am to train, exercise, and discipline myself to be like Jesus. I do not try to be Godly but I train to be Godly. Training is a process the Holy Spirit uses to accomplish something in me. Trying is attempting to be like Jesus based upon My own effort, hard work, self denial, etc. Trying leads to pride and failure. Training Leads to transformation.
Prayer
Make me more like Jesus.
